1st hair cut

It took us while, but after seeing how long Mikey's hair was getting & having to push it out of his eyes we decided it was time for his 1st hair cut (See above for some shots at how long it actually was).
Hey - did they just call  my name?

All ready to go (look no tears!)

What the heck?  She's watering me Mom!

Initial cuts....

Almost ready to fall asleep

Look at our big boy now!

Closer view....we couldn't get him to sit still long enough for a good shot.
It has taken us a while to get used to his new 'do' but I think he likes it.  He definitely looks more like a big boy than a baby now!

Swimming Lessons

Andrew & Jenna finished up another round of swimming lessons, and both of them did great.  On the last night of class they let the parents bring in the camera's, so here are a few pictures from the last lesson (oh, and we brought Mikey with us so he could enjoy the pool too).

Easter 2012

Easter was busy, but the kids had fun.  We started out with dying eggs on Saturday night.  Amazingly we only had 1 egg that saw it's demise due to being dropped (we were impressed!).

Getting ready to dye eggs
Adding stickers & other decorations
Then on Sunday morning it was time for egg hunt #1.  After 'patiently' waiting until 6:30, we let the egg hunting begin!

Why didn't the bunny hide this egg?

Jenna checking out her basket (pretty sure she was saying "oh, cool!")
Yes! a hexbug!

Happy Easter!

Then it was off to Owatonna for Easter # 2!  More baskets & more eggs to find :-)  The Owatonna easter bunny left a note indicating how many eggs, chocolate bunnies & gifts were waiting in the yard for Andrew & Jenna.  He hid Mikey's stuff inside.  Andrew & Jenna couldn't wait to hit the yard & start searching!

Mikey checking out the dump truck the bunny left him
And they're off!
Where could those eggs, chocolate bunnies & gifts be?
Wow! A monster truck!

Look! I got a remote control truck too!
Mike practicing his Mr. Miyagi pose (he didn't like the grass touching his legs)
After watching the dogs & cows graze on grass, he decided to give it a try too (apparently it does not taste good)

Chasing her truck
Then we were off to Faribault for Easter #3 of the day.  The kids were excited that they got to do another egg hunt there.

Can we look for eggs now?
